# FC CHGR-STD  $9.00,  AC Adapter-Charger,12 VDC @ 300 mA,  for all STARTEK Frequency Counters <2008.

ATH-60 & ATH-70 models use a 12VDC REGULATED OUTPUT ADAPTER, 500 mA or more rating.

Using incorrect adapter could fail to charge batteries or damage batteries and also cause counter not to work properly.

Power jack will accept 2.1mm or 2.5mm dc co-axial plug.

 All units were built with polarity protection, most were built with auto-polarity input.

All "ATH" series units were built with Auto-Polarity power input.

You can try power either way. Unit will work properly or not at all, but no damage should occur.

We have now changed all new and replacement battery packs to our new 12-15 hour - Ultra Low Self Discharge NI-MH.

The new High Capacity NI-MH packs will give 3-4 TIMES THE BATTERY OPERATION of previously used NI-CD packs and can be installed in any STARTEK Frequency Counter.

Our New Batteries are "LSD", Ultra "LOW SELF DISCHARGE",  will hold 80% charge for up to one year.

(For max life and capacity, they should be deep cycled at least once per 6 months)

(for ALL MODELS sold before 2006).

TYPICAL REPAIR TIME 1-3 BUSINESS DAYS

Non warranty repair service for any model is $45 flat rate for labor plus cost of parts.

Obtain RMA Number by phone, return well packaged with note containing your Phone number/s, name & address for return and RMA number.

Do Not send accessories like antennas, probes, AC Adapters, case, etc, unless it is involved in problem you are having.

MAINTENANCE SPECIAL

BATTERY REPLACEMENT & CALIBRATION

We will Replace Batteries in a properly working STARTEK Frequency Counter with New high capacity NI-MH LSD type batteries, check charge circuit and adjust if necessary, clean PC Board, Test and Calibrate Frequency and replace red digit lens if necessary for $39.00.

+ $12.00 return S/H & INS in USA, $15.00 return charge for Canada, other countries request shipping quote.

This does not include AC Adapter-Charger, cost of any repairs or additional parts.

Should additional service be required, we will contact you with firm quote before work is done.

When unit works OK with AC adapter, it probably does not need additional repair.

If you have opened unit and see significant battery corrosion, we recommend you clip the battery connections and dispose of batteries to stop further corrosion damage. Unit is still usable with AC adapter after batteries are removed.

When unit is received for service, we will call you with exact cost before work is done.

If you do not want work performed, you are only responsible for a $16.00 charge for evaluation and  return S/H & INS.
